Children and Families Social Work
Some children, young people and their families need help and support from us. This page gives details of the help available and also tell you how to go about getting that help. Our services for children and families include foster care, adoption services, residential care, youth justice and family support, as well as specialist services for children with a disability.
Referrals to the Duty and Child Protection Team
The duty service operates as a single point of entry to the Duty and Child Protection (DCP) Team. The Duty and Child Protection Team works with children and young people who do not currently have an allocated social worker.
