1. The role of an unpaid carer can be a very rewadring but challenging role. Under the Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 anyone undertaking an Unpaid Caring role has the right to request an Adult Carer Support Plan.
  
  This form will let you access support, advice and information from both the council and from Carers of West Lothian. Carers of West Lothian can provide advice and guidance to help you prepare for an Adult Carer Support Plan, if this is the most appropriate option for you.
